Served on The Pride of America and The Pride of Aloha. Worked as a Utility Galley on the cruise ship maintaining USPH and CDC standards in the Galley field (or kitchen). Worked 3 rotations of 5 months on with 5 weeks off. No days off , and working 10-12 hours everyday! My second rotation received a promotion to Galley Steward which is a supervisor position. Finished the rest of my rotations at that position!
Duties include trash removal, food removal, cleaning of grills, fryers, walls, ceilings, floors, and any other instrument used in a Galley.
