I am looking to start a new career in the Shipping/Marine industry. I'm Looking to upgrade my MMD endorsements through experience and certifications. Currently looking for a local school or prep center to attend.
Experience
BNSF Railroad from Jan.15,'95 to present. I'm a conductor/ foreman responsible for maintaining a safe course, direct and deliver my assigned train and it's cargo to the appointed destination following FRA and BNSF rules and regulations. I inspect the train makeup and compliance, inspect equipment and locomotives before departure making sure all warrants, Track Condition Messages, Gen.Track Bulletins, air brake certificate and manifest papers are correct timeley and up to date.
USNavy from May 1975 to March 1981 Honorabe Discharge. Stationed at Barbers Point, HI. Bootcamped in San Diego NATC. Went to A,B and C schools at Memphis, TN. Assigned to a P-3 Spuadron as a Second Mech. Served six WesPac tours to Japan, Phillipes, Korea and Taipei, Taiwan. Served six months aboard the USS Ranger.
Education
Graduated with Honors from East Los Angeles College where i made the Dean's honor roll. Degree in Administration of Justice.
Certification
Conductors License, MMD Document.
