Dear Sir or Madam,

I am submitting this resume for full time employment with your organization. I have attended Northern Maine Technical College in Presque Isle, Maine where I received my Associates Degree and my certification in Auto Body Collision Repair Technician. I have worked in a couple collision shops for several years but with our economy changing the work is not there. I also worked for a great company Cianbro Corporation for over three years and learned many skills until I was laid off due to reduction of work force. I then decided to revisit my career and have decided working on a shipping vessel would give me the ability to grow in positions as well as skills. I know this as I have two friends that also do this type of work. I know I do not have the years of experience or the skill levels that most companies are looking for but know I am a very hard and trustworthy worker and want to advance my skills which would give me a good sound-working environment for my future. I do have my TWIC, passed my DOT Drug Screening and passed my Medical Exam. I now hold my Merchant Mariner Credential. I am in the process of getting my passport and am willing to take classes in order for me to better myself with your company.

I am very interested in working for your company as a full time employee; please contact me anytime at the above number. I hope you will consider me. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Clayton Lewis
