Objective
I would like to join in the maritime industry and begin a new career path. I have no prior experience, however I want to work hard, gain new skill sets, gain experience, and achieve the necessary certifications to for eventual advancement within the industry.
Experience
October 08- December 08 Lucern Farms, Somerville, TN. Responsible for upkeep and management of 8 greenhouses as well as the watering, trimming, fertilizing, shipping and receiving of the various plants and shrubs.
May ’08 – September ’08 Rangeley Inn, Rangeley,ME .Maintenance/Construction. Responsible for day to day maintenance for 1800’s Country inn, dining room, tavern, banquet facilities,Lakeside motor lodge and 50 rooms.
July ’07 -February ’08 Fayette County Drug Court – Drug Court Coordinator Fayette County General Sessions Court – Coordinate development and implementation of the Drug Court
Program and keep all drug court team members updated about the drug court’s progress. Responsible for preparation of grant application, process data collections and monitor to ensure everyday workings are on target, preparation of annual budget, prepare sub-contracts, maintain oversight of treatment provider, prepare and submit all grant reports and act as liaison between the Court, treatment provider, law enforcement agencies and the community.

2004 Summer travel study at the University of Guanajuato in Guanajuato, Mexico.
2005 Graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin, Bachelor of Arts: Spanish; Minor: History. GPA 3.86.
Certification
Because I, as of yet, have no experience, I do not have any certifications having to do with the maritime industry.
Skils
-Spanish speaker.
-Able to quickly learn new concepts and skills and apply them.
A job in the maritime industry would be a step in a very new and welcomed direction for me. The lack of experience would be offset by my willingness to work hard, learn quick and advance.
I have no wife, children, or debt that might hold me down, therefore long periods of travel and/or relocations would not be a problem.
