I have been working as a salesman at Loi Hein Co., Ltd which produces soft drinks. Although I am doing quite well at my workplace, I hold much interest in sea going career. Since I passed sophomore majoring in History, I have been longing to work on ships, but I do not have any chances. I have sent many applications to online Indian crewing companies, but they do not make any responses. Nor do our local crewing companies. Some of my colleagues get jobs on fishing boats, for which they have to pay USD1,700 to USD2,000. We are not rich enough to pay for these kinds of expensive jobs. I have been told about marinetimejobs.com, but do not know how to reach it. Luckily, I came across marinetimejobs.com the other day on the internet. Since I have had a strong desire to go to sea, I attended compulsory basic training at DMA (Department of Marine Administration) recognize private institute. As I have attained all these required certificates, I am ready to fly out from Yangon within seven business days. I am willing to work with any nationality, regardless of any length of contract and any vessel type. Because, if I have enough experience, four years at sea with watch keeping experience I can sit for Second Mate (Foreign Going) examination in Yangon. From there I could build my career as a professional seafarer. I hope marinetimejobs.com will be my rock!
