Duties and Responsibilities:.
• Steer the ship while on duty.
• Performed navigational watch during the voyage.
• Check the ship position using the GPS from time to time.
• Upon docking and undocking , operate windlass machine as ordered by the Ship Captain.
• Process documents required by the coast guard authorities for the entry and clearing of the ship.
• Assist the OIC in processing the manifestation of the ship cargoes.
• Supervise the loading and unloading of the cargo in every port.
• Operate the hatch cover of the ship to secure the cargo.
• Assist the ship officers from time to time
