1) Mubarak Marine LLC- Dubai, Jun 2007-Jan 2011, Asst. Ops Mgr, HR Mgr, DPA



Assist and deputize Operations Manager in all aspects:-

Run day to day operations for a fleet of 28 AHTS, tugs, and harbor tugs with GRT ranging from 25-1300 T.

Source crew, client, and Vessel’s requirement.

Using and drafting BIMCO's assorted types of Charter Parties.

Prepare vessels for a charter based on client's predefined operational and safety procedures/Requirements.

Follow up on vessel's operational progress and give professional advice to masters at all times.

Liaise with client, authorities and third parties for smooth operation with client's satisfaction targeted.

Track consumables onboard the fleet's units, for precise consumption control.

Conduct sea trials for brand new/rebuilt vessels in the absence of a master.

Fully responsible for implementing, revising, and enforcing ISM, ISPS,SOLAS, MARPOL conventions onboard the fleet.

? Revising Mubarak Marine's Safety Management Manual, periodically.

? monitor and Implement the latest amendments and recommendations of IMO’s ISM code.

? Enhancing safety performance and reducing the annual number of accidents/Incidents fleet's wide

? Track company's, vessels' and personnel performance towards ISM, illustrated in statistical graphs

? Raising the safety awareness among crews and shore staff

? Schedule and carry out internal audits, Random Audits, follow up on raised non-conformities and the suggested corrective actions, from External, Internal, and Third parties' safety inspections and audits.

? Follow up on security matters and brief masters on areas of piracy, stowaways or turbulence in general.

? arrange for and conduct company's emergency drill and monitor the response of different departments.

? Liaise with MD on safety issues, proposed corrective actions, and securing resources' for better ISM compliance.



Fully responsible for HR Dept.

* Track Crew/Staff in all aspects ; Certification, crew change, performance evaluation…

* Managing & arranging for crew supply for company's units, and some of the office staff

* Interviewing and selecting candidates, checking compliance of their certificates, Experience and negotiate salaries.

* Tracking, with the PRO department, Staff/Crew documents' renewal, cancellations.

* Conversant with Labor/Immigrations laws of UAE.

* Identify areas where training/ personnel performance improvement is needed, arrange for such, within company's set strategies against company’s financial status.

Achievement with Mubarak Marine LLC.

? Potential saving in penalties paid to NTA/Immigrations/Labor authorities due to late

renewal, cancellation of relevant documents by creating a data base tailored for such purpose.

? Potential saving in crew salaries; Significant upgrading of crew’s certification level,

together with keeping salaries budget within the mid level by expanding my crewing resources to up to 22 agencies in 9 countries.

? From Scratch, Up lifting the safety awareness among crew and onshore staff presenting the company as a real ISM compliant body, in the potential market by creating a safety data base tracking all aspects of safety and producing relevant statistics.

? Multiple D.bases tracking huge number of Documents, Personnel, Events, Financial aspects and Vessels' technical issues for an easier follow up, proper , and timely action taking.

During my time as a Master, I have executed the majority of the popular offshore support

Activities on board quit a lot of offshore vessels with different types, Conventional and DPAchievements during my 15 years time at sea:

> Absolutely 0 Lost Time Accident (LTA).

> Performance appreciation from charterers and management, as awarded by PGS, RACAL, & Soorosh oil field for performance in deadly rough weather, BP for safety.

> Strict safety implementation onboard all vessels I've been on, having crews well trained and highly motivated.
