*APPOINT THIRD PARTY SUB CONTRACTORS LIKE STEVEDORES, SURVEYORS AND TALLY COMPANIES AS PER CUSTOMER REQUIREMENTS.
*OBTAIN FREE PRATIQUE FROM PORT HEALTH PRIOR VESSELS ARRIVAL ON MASTERS BEHALF.
*ARRANGE PRE-PLAN MEETING AND CHAIR SAME AS WELL AS CHAIR ON BOARD MEETINGS DAILY WITH ALL CONCERNED PARTIES WITH DETAILS PERTAINING TO VESSELS OPERATION AND REQUIREMENTS WITH REGARD TO EQUIPMENT ETC.
*WHEN IMPORTING CARGO, ENSURE MANIFEST IS SUBMITTED TO CUSTOMS AND PORT AUTHORITIES PRIOR TO VESSELS ARRIVAL.
*ENSURE ORIGINAL BILL OF LADING IS OBTAINED PRIOR RELEASE OF CARGO FROM RELEVANT PARTIES.
*ENSURE THAT FOR HAZARDOUS CARGOES, ALL RELEVANT HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLICIES AND REGULATIONS ARE COMPLIED WITH.
*ISSUE DELIVERY ORDER ON INSTRUCTION FROM PRINCIPAL AS/IF REQUIRED.
*CONFIRM THAT ALL LANDING AND FORWARDING ORDERS HAVE BEEN PASSED PRIOR VESSELS ARRIVAL.
*REPORT VESSEL STATUS TO PRINCIPAL ON A DAILY BASIS WHILE VESSEL IN PORT AND PRIOR ARRIVAL.
*FOR EXPORT CARGO CONFIRM/OBTAIN SPECIFICS OF CARGO TO BE LOADED.
*SEND REQUIRED LOAD READINESS NOTICES TO SHIPPERS AND RELEVANT PARTIES DETAILING SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS AND DATE FOR LOADING.
*OBTAIN CARGO PRE-ASSEMBLY STATUS ON A DAILY BASIS AND FOLLOW UP ON ANY DEVIATIONS FROM THE PLAN.
*ENSURE SHIPPING ORDERS ARE PASSED BEFORE VESSELS ARRIVAL.
*DETERMINE TYPE OF BILL OF LADING TO BE USED AND ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH REQUIREMENTS.
*ON ARRIVAL OF VESSEL ENSURE INWARDS CLEARANCE IS LODGED WITH CUSTOMS.
*ADVISE PORT CONTROL OF BERTH AND POSITIONING.
*ADVISE PORT HEALTH, IMMIGRATION AND CUSTOMS OF BERTH AND ETB.
*ISSUE NOTICE OF READINESS AND GET MASTER TO SIGN.
*MASTER TO GIVE AUTHORITY TO SIGN BILL OF LADING ON HIS BEHALF IF INSTRUCTED TO BY OWNERS.

*ANY ALL MATTERS THAT MAY ARISE DURING VESSELS PORT STAY THAT REQUIRE AGENTS TO SORT OUT OR ATTENDING TO.
*ON DEPARTURE ADVISE PORT AUTHORITY OF SAILING TIME, ENSURE VESSEL IS CLEARED BY IMMIGRATION, HARBOUR REVENUE AND CUSTOMS.
*SEND SAILING DETAILS TO PRINCIPALS AND RELEVANT PARTIES.
*ISSUE BILLS OF LADING IF REQUIRED AND ENSURE SAME IS WITHIN CONFORMITY WITH MATES RECEIPTS AND ALWAYS ONLY WITH CONFIRMATION RECEIVED FROM PRINCIPAL.
*RECEIVE ALL INVOICES AND CHECK AGAINST ESTIMATE, VERIFYING INVOICES AGAINST WORK CARRIED OUT.
*FOLLOW UP ON ANY OUTSTANDING INVOICES.
