DAMAGE CONTROL ASSISTANT, 1991-93, REACTOR ELECTRICAL DIVISION OFFICER, 1990-91, Operated and Maintained $500 million nuclear propulsion plant. Supervised and trained 550 man crew. Led, supervised and trained divisions of up to 80 personnel in maintenance of all ship auxiliary machinery, diesels, and piping systems. Directed control of damage, operations, maintenance, and repairs to ships hull and mechanical equipment. Led 40 electricians in the maintenance and operation of electrical generation/distribution and reactor controls systems.
• Served as one of three selected Officer of the Decks during Condition III wartime steaming, the Senior Officer on watch responsible for the entire crew, vessel, and the conduct of its mission.

• Selected to be Acting Chief Engineer for two Nuclear Reactor Plants.
• Earned prestigious RADM Schonland Award due to unequaled damage control knowledge in flooding, stability, fire fighting, underwater damage repair, stability, gas free engineering, and chemical warfare operations.
• Supervised complex repairs and testing during restricted availability. Expertise led to being chosen to take reactor plant solid for repairs while underway. Achieved 100% maintenance confidence factor for the division.
