§ Work closely with government agencies to ensure the ship and crew are compliant with all applicable regulations

§ Plan and coordinate logistical needs of crew members

§ Coordinate all maintenance operations associated with the ship while in port

§ Strengthened organizational skills by maintaining all necessary government and agency records



Kennedy Dance Theatre, Office Manager and Dance Instructor, Webster, TX: 2006-2007

§ Managed and coordinated the efforts of a 15 staff members

§ Gained extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

§ Taught 5 classes per week with up to 25 students per class

National Propeller Club Student President: 2005 - 2007

· Managed all club activities, trips, and fundraisers for approximately 100 students

· Supervised and effectively guided the efforts of 8 officers

· Selected as one of fifty student leaders from Texas A&M University (one of four from Galveston) to attend the

45th Annual Memorial Student Center’s Spring Leadership Trip 2007, Houston, TX

· Organized the annual Propeller Club Golf Tournament, the largest fundraiser at the university with 80 participants raising over $10,000, Spring 2006 and 2007

· Organized and attended trip to send 10 students to the 2007 Maritime Security Conference, Ft. Lauderdale, FL

· Helped plan and participated in the 2006 Industry Day career fair at the University of Maryland’s

R.H. Smith School of Business which hosted 39 companies and 200 students

· Served as an Intern at the 2006 National Defense Transportation Association Conference, Memphis, TN

· Organized and attended trip to send 30 students to the 2006 National Propeller Club Convention, Norfolk, VA

· Served as an Intern for the Maritime Security Council, Fall of 2005, 2006, & 2007, and Spring of 2006
