2007- INTEROCEANICA/ ISABELLA SHIPPING /- TURBANA CORP.

Assistant in maritime operations for shipping line at service to Turbana Corporation, visited different ports such as Freeport, TX- Philadelphia, PA- Puerto Limon, Costa Rica - Bridgeport, CT, - and Turbo, Colombia to hold meetings with stevedoring and shore labor. Responsible for equipment such as maritime containers, chassis, generators. Revise, process and approve repair estimates for reefer containers, negotiated schedule for man/hour labor. Order spares for reefer containers and vessel kits. Handled equipment leasing contracts and arrange on hire/off hire at different locations. Filed vessel and port communications organized by voyage number. Arrange and conciliate with different ports the stowage plan for palletized fruit carried under deck in reefer vessels and dry bulk cargo such as paper, resin, cotton. Etc. Daily activities included but not limited to verify invoicing from vendors and service providers, daily revision of inventories, keeping logs and reports for cargo lashing material.

Responsible to prepare vessel stowage for in/outbound of containerized cargo, LCL, Break Bulk. Prepared reports for operations manager and transmitted stowage plans to different destination ports. Audited manifests against loading/discharge lists. Assisted in arrangement of fuel delivery, prepared vessel calls and kept itineraries with agents. Adjusted/revised vendor invoicing. Responsible for equipment control for a fleet distributed in Jacksonville, Port Everglades, and Rio Haina (Dominican Republic) to Barranquilla and Cartagena.

Temporary position, daily activities included equipment control for inbound fleet in Port of Miami and Port Everglades. Responsible for leasing terminations (off hires). M&R follow up and approval. Third party collections, logistics, empty reposition to Far East, South America, and Europe. Invoice processing, and temperature control for imported refrigerated cargo. Process delivery requests, customer service, intermodal assistance, daily equipment inventories and follow up on reports.

Agent responsible for export documentation, such as Air Way Bills and Consolidated cargoes. Hazmats and flight manifests. Responsible to adjust payments and collections with the sales department and accountings. Customer service, daily inventory and reports. Responsible to clear outbound flights to US Customs and other International authorities.
