Major responsibilities included acting as Focal Point and creating vessel stowage plan for stevedore use, direct loading and discharging of vessels and cargo transfer, monitor timely sailing, maintain regular communications with all necessary parties, and preparing productivity reports.

Major responsibilities in Logistics were to analyze information related to transportation about environmental impact of projects, or long-range planning needs, coordinated with pertinent personal and departments during the vessel operation for smooth operation and yard side operation. Reporting superiors regarding the development in the terminal that include, but not limited to a number of moves performed at quayside by each crane and any equipment break-down.

Operation Supervisor 2002 - 2015

Supervisor in charge of 50 operations staff members in one of the busiest pier in San Juan Bay. Major responsibilities were loading, unloading, and dispatching containers on a fast track environment providing a safe atmosphere to employee as well as to the customer. Also, support management in the design, development, and implementation of services which helps improve customer satisfaction. Assign warehouse personnel to accurately receive and dispatch all inbound or outbound freight. Administered company safety programs to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all employees. Established operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipment, handling and disposition of merchandise, and the accurate keeping of inventory. Communicated information to operation manager in a timely matter to expedited merchandise receipt, shipping, and special handling. Maintain storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvement.
