Experience
A graduate candidate in management worked in Hari & Co, Chennai, India as an operation executive for a year and as an operation manager a year and month from period 02 May.05 till 26 Dec.o7. My job specification to handle the bulk vessel by coordinating and interlinking the agency departement and stevedoring department along with port officials.
Will have to supervise and allocated work to my coworkers from filling of IGM/EGM, customs documentation process, arrival intimation of vessel at berth meeting, cargo activity planning according to port norms, and finalizing SOF.
One of major achivement was handled a barge loaded with teak logs in bundles at Chennai Port Trust after 15 years gap and made a historical record for discharging within specific time.
i. Preparation and filling of IGM/EGM at Customs as per regulations for berthing the vessel.
ii. Should coordinate and observe the boarding and clearance formalities with customs, port and other department for berthing and sailing of vessels along with my staffs.
iii. To keep a track on other streamer agency and maintain a separate database on vessel handled.
iv. Should coordinate with all shipping line/agents, port operation staffs, importers, exporters, terminal operators, CFS operator, surveyor, transporter, bank, PHO, and customs house. (Both Container & Bulk).
