Experience
Assits in operation and maintence of engine room machinery. Perform repairs and maintenance on portable water,sanitary and drainage system throughout the ship.Conduct general cleaning,painting throughout engine room space.Take reading on engines and auxiliaries,monitoring temperatures pressures and other parameters to ensure machinery is operated within safe,standard industry pratice.Monitors evaportor operations ensuring necessary temperatures,pressure and water levels are maintained. Also to ensure quality of evaporator output and feed storage tanks through salinity testing.Ensures correct distribution of evaportor output. Operate boilers,controlling feed pump,and repairing miner leaks.`Repair and replace general machine parts,change oil,fuel. Change out oily racor filters. Transfer of fluids (water) as well as fuel. In charge of demands of engine room.
