Objective
I would like to finish my practice, internship for a year. I would then like to continue working for that company and gain much knowledge and experience.
Experience
I have completed all necessary courses: Fire Fighting, Survival at Sea, First Aid, Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities, Principles of CPR and First Aid, Ship Security Officer, and Technical terms for Cadets.
I took the Ship Security Officer Course at the Panama Canal. I have about a month's experience on the ship as an engine cadet. I was a guard to make sure that everthing was in check. I was trained on how to prepare chemicals for painting, treatments for surfaces, anti-corrosives, and final finishing in the engine room and associated equipment.
I helped the Engineer in charge in repairing and maintenance on different equipment in the engine room. I observed the process of starting and operating of the generators, starting of the main engine, and identified the different problems of the equipment. I participated in several excercises: Fire Fighter, Abandon Ship, Man Overboard, and Emergency Aboard. I did this practice in the School Ship, ATLAS III.

I am bilingual and am a fast learner. I am willing and able to be trained in any area necessary. I am looking for a good opportunity to gain further knowledge and become part of an excellent company. I will work as hard as possible in every area.
