1999 - 2001 Global Industries, Ltd., New Iberia, Louisiana Ordinary Seaman & Unlicensed Engineer-Worked as an Ordinary Seaman on the Utility boats Joe Thornton, Sea Leopard, and Sea Cat and Crewboats LaSalle and DeSoto for a large commercial diving company in the Gulf of Mexico oilfield. Also maintained engine rooms and handled engine room operations
2001 - 2003 Adventure Yachts, Pompano Beach, Florida Mate/Yacht sales - Brokered and delivered yachts; Mate on 61’ Hatteras MY Romance II used for charter in the Bahamas
2003 - 2004 NJ Marine Sciences Consortium, Sandy Hook, New Jersey Mate/Field Technician - Operated the Oceanographic Research Vessel Walford prior to its sale, conducting educational field trips and various biological, geological, chemical, and physical oceanographic research in the northeast and in Long Island Sound
