Experience
1982 Enlisted in the Army as a light infantry soldier, (Reserves) spent 3 years training.
1985 Completed drill instructor school.
Worked as a reserve drill instructor until 1988.
1988 Signed up with the Army Nation Guard and trained for combat engineering building bridges, run ways, driving front end loaders honorably discharged in 1992 10 years service.
1982-1994 Dole Dried Fruit company Worked on the line for 1 year stacking 50# boxes of almonds on pallets, then promoted to machine operator and learned all almond processing equipment in the company by running each for the next 11 years, 12 years total service
1994-1995 Refrigeration and HVAC School, learned Refrigeration practices and principles, HVAC, Electrical and controls, graduated, received EPA certification card.
1995-2011 Wal-Mart Stores Inc. Worked as a maintenance person at a local Wal-Mart store for 1 year, was promoted to a District maintenance tech working in the field, I overseen contractors and completed maintenance on the refrigeration and H.V.A.C systems on 35 stores.
2008-2011 Wal-Mart Stores, promoted to mechanical construction manager, I overseen all refrigeration, HVAC, Electrical, EMS construction for new and remodeled stores, inspected all projects, ordered equipment needed and held contractors responsible for work performed by enforcing state and local specification's. 16 years total service.
2011-2013 Kroger's Supermarkets, EMS field supervisor, traveled to stores and completed audits of maintenance items that needed attention, Lighting issues, refrigeration issues, checked the EMS programs and made adjustments to settings to help with energy use, followed later to check that the work was completed by contractors, 2 years total service.
2013-Present Restaurant Depot, West Coast Regional refrigeration Manager
Oversee the maintenance of 37 warehouses from California to Houston, responsible for all EPA and CARB compliance, refrigeration, HVAC, Electrical, automatic doors, lighting.
