Objective


I would like to pursue a challenging and interesting carrier in the field of oceanography. I am willing to work in any country and I am available to do so as of now.

• Freelance work for Nautilus S.L.



Position: Oceanographer / Surveyor



Skills developed: Planification of survey (all stages), management of instrumentation, liaison with all parts involved in the project (different rental companies, clients, associates, etc ). Deployment & recovery of marine instrumentation. Management/acquisition of the oceanographic data. Reporting of results to clients.



Project status: Temporary on hold due to insufficient funds.

Modules include: Mathematical techniques for Remote Sensing of the Ocean, Radar Remote Sensing of The Oceans, Visible, IR and Passive Microwave Techniques for Ocean Remote Sensing.



Skills developed: Team work toward written reports, communication skills to organize and distribute in an efficient way the different parts of group works / reports / presentations. Effective research skill. Efficient task tackling approach. Further oceanographic field skills acquired. Ability to endure stressful situations as numerous deadlines pile up and thus efficient time managing to meet all deadlines.
