01/21/04 – Present, Captain for Harvey Gulf International Marine / Guidry Brothers Towing Co. Supervisor – Shawn Guidry or Abry Dufrene ph.# (985) 475-6631.

Duties: Officer of navigational watch as Master of the Harvey Discovery a 260’ 2030GT Multipurpose ROV / Dive support / OSV, D.P. class 2 vessel. With a 65ton Knuckle boom offshore crane. Also as Master of the Harvey War Horse a 16,500hp Ocean tug and other 9,000hp ocean tugs. Rig moving in the gulf and world wide also anchor handling and barge towing.

Duties: Officer of navigational watch and vessel operations on the Thomas a 4400 HP tug working with a bucket dredge towing mud scows.

STCW 95 endorsement- valid for service on vessels operating in the GMDSS system.

GMDSS and Radio Operators FCC License, and (ARPA), U.S. Merchant Mariners

STAR Center: Bridge Resource Management Training, Delgado Community College: Basic and Advanced Ship Firefighting, The Texas A&M University System: Proficiency in Survival Craft Course, Louisiana Tech College: Medic First Aid and CPR certified. Also Qualified Offshore Hydraulic Crane Operator & Qualified Offshore rigger certification issued 5/11/06.


Skils


I have worked in the towing industry for over twenty years and have worked inland and offshore. On domestic and international voyages towing all types of barges and drilling rigs, also anchor handling on lay barges and derrick barges. I have also worked on D.P. class2 supply vessels. And have been Master for the past three years on a multipurpose ROV construction vessel doing sub sea work in the oil patch of the Gulf of Mexico. I am available for vessel deliveries and part time trip work. My crew and vessel safety are my first priority and making sure the job gets done professionally and safely. I have a passport and up to date international vaccination shot card, WILL TRAVEL.


 


I have never been in a lost time or accident, nor have the vessels that I piloted.
