Global Industries- Carlyss, La. May 2008 to present time. Duties include working as Master of four-point anchoring Dive Support Vessels and as Second Mate/DP Officer of a Saturation Diving SWATH Vessel.

Brady Marine- Cuttoff, La. February to May 2008. Duties included working as Master of an Offshore Supply Vessel.

Kilgore Marine-Lafayette, La. January to February 2008. Duties included working as Master of an Offshore Supply Vessel.

Seaward Services-Dania, Fl. October to December 2007. Duties included working as Second Mate of an Ocean Research Vessel.

Andrie inc.-Muskegon, Mi. May 1997 to 2/11/98. Duties included watch officer while navigating the Great Lakes and connecting rivers systems, also P.I.C. loading and unloading 40,000 Bbls.


Education


Received a GED in June, 1971. I Attended Piney Point School of Seamanship through the S.I.U. in Piney Point, Md., in June and July 1971, for Able Seaman and Life boatman. Attended Louisiana Marine and Petroleum Institute in June 1982 for 100 Ton Operator, and in August 1984 for 300 Ton Master-Passenger Vessels, 500 Ton Master-Mineral and Oil Vessels, and 1000 Ton Mate Freight and Towing Vessels, in Houma, La. I attended Two Genesis Systems Computer courses in Bay St. Louis, Ms. in April and May 1989. I attended Young Memorial Technical Institute from May to July 1992 for Celestial Navigation and 1600 Ton Master in Morgan City, La. I Attended Louisiana Regional Technical Institute in July 1993 for Unlimited Radar Observer in Houma, La. I Attended Sea School in Mobile, Ala. for renewal of Radar Unlimited in July, 1998. I Attended Delgado Community College for Advanced Ship Firefighting. I currently hold a 1600 Ton Master (domestic) license and a 3000 ton Master (ITC) (Oceans) license .I have obtained: STCW, GMDSS, Element 7, and OMSA Onboard Assessors certificates. I have attended the Converteam DP School and have a full DP2 certificate.

Since 1969, I have worked as Ordinary Seaman, Wiper, Able-bodied Seaman, Deck Maintenance A.B., Boatswain, Mate, and Master on many types of vessels. These vessels types include freighters, tankers, container ships, bulk carriers, sea-going tugs, composite tug-barge units, anchor-handling supply vessels, seismograph vessels, utility boats, crew boats, diving boats, four point anchor dive support vessels, SWATH saturation dive support vessels, and commercial fishing vessels. I believe in total commitment to the job and remaining a valuable asset to my employer. I am not afraid of hard work or long hours.
