Ocean engineer/Naval architect

Objective

I would like to design, fabricate, troubleshoot, any marine or water flow system.

Experience

At FAU Seatech, I was an integral part of a team designing and building an unmanned 6 ft. RC USV vessel (catamaran) for the United States Navy. My responsibilities included, but not limited to, Matlab graphing, soldering circuit boards, stress testing materials, fiberglass, grinding and cutting steel, purchasing and/or fabricating vehicle components, and various clerical duties. I have a strong background in Math and Engineering, I am energetic, detail oriented, organized, multi-tasking, and have a proven track record for meeting strict deadlines. I am now in the process of learning Auto-cad and Orcaflex.

Education

and I graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Ocean Engineering from Florida Atlantic University (FAU), Seatech Campus. This includes study in electrical, structural, mechanical engineering and material corrosion

Certification

MCSE, A+, MCP,

Skils

Recently finished working with a group of students under FAU’s Dept. of Ocean Engineering and the U.S. Navy. I was an integral part of a team designing and constructing an 6 ft. Unmanned Autonomous surface vessel (catamaran). to carry out low level reconnaissance and intelligence gathering missions in support of special operations and marine missions.

Duties include Matlab graphing, P-Cad schematics of electrical system, purchasing and fabricating vehicle components stress testing materials, analyze and evaluate results. Fiberglass and painting 2lb polystyrene foam, soldering power junction boards, machine shop duties, assembling and demonstrate vehicle.
