Center for Innovative Ship Design Summer Intern
Contributed as a member of a multidisciplinary design team tasked with solving a current U.S. Navy problem. Maintained a working relationship with senior engineering staff and mentors. Presented design project to a large audience of executive military personnel, scientists and engineers. Researched and composed a technical paper, for future public release, outlining the details of the design.

Research Assistant
Performed work on United States Naval Research Contracts including the testing and development of an underwater acoustic camera designed to accurately identify underwater buried objects. Machined parts for scientific devices with strict thresholds. Conducted secondary research and worked closely with a team of scientists and engineers.
2008-09: ZFI Engineering
Field Engineer Technician
Conducted water flow related field research in the Florida Everglades. Produced written reports compliant to the standards of the South Florida Water Management District. Researched potential business development avenues. Handled Acoustic Doppler devices (ADCP, ADFM) and performed water quality measurements, using technical computer programs including WinRiver.
