WORK EXPERIENCE:
Cascade Grain Products (Ethanol Production)- From: Feb 2008 to Jul 2009
Position: Operator 2
Responsible for water treatment and testing of water for boilers, cooling towers and plant balance. Operate boilers, perform daily operational checks and start up and shut down for boilers. Perform valve set up for distillation, prop tanks and chemical tanks. Perform lab testing for slurry, fermentors and ethanol final product. Use DCS computer system, operate heavy equipment such as locomotive, bobcat, forklift and caterpillar 966. Performed loading and unloading of railcars and tankers.
D&N Cleaning- From: Sept 2005 to Oct 2007

Performed customer paper work, billing, advertising, supply ordering and cleaning of new construction and remodeled houses.

U.S. Navy - From Jun 1984- Nov 1997
Position: Fuel Distribution Worker/Mechanic/Supervisor
Performed the operations of pumps, valves, filters, piping, tank level indicators and manifolds for fuel systems. Performed sampling and tank gauging and the testing of fuel for water, sediment, FSII, specific gravity and flash point. Prior training in the use of portable fire fighting equipment such as CO2, PKP, Halon and AFFF suppression units, fuel spill clean-up, MSDS procedures, Hazmat procedures, confined space entry and safety procedures. Instructed personnel in malfunctions of fuel systems and determined corrective action. Trained personnel in the operations of fuel systems and test equipment. Maintained fuel inventory records, prepared maintenance schedules, used technical manuals, blue prints, schematics and maintained inventory/supply records. Operated mobile refuelers, automotive gasoline and diesel trucks, hydrant pits, pump house operations and facility upkeep and the transfer of fuel from stowage tanks to tankers, barges, ships, aircraft and other vehicles.
MARITIME EXPERIENCE:
USS Midway (CV-41) From 1984 – 1988
Position: Aviation Fuels Handler/QC/Repair
Performed the refueling and defueling of aircraft. Performed quality control of aviation fuel, repaired and performed preventive maintenance on refueling stations, hoses, pumps, filters. Served as rehabilitation team member to preserve ships living and work places, performed damage control duties, quarterdeck and security watches.
USS Dubuque (LPD-8) From 1991 – 1994
Position: Aviation Fuels Supervisor
Performed the supervision of ships JP-5 and Mogas fuel systems, insured systems were kept in operational status and aviation fuel personnel were trained in the maintenance and operation of such systems. Insured work center planned maintenance schedules were up to date. Over saw fueling evolutions were carried out in accordance with Naval regulations. Performed security watches and served on ships security detail, stood quarterdeck watches.
