Under ARIES INSTITUTE able to design for a new Design various steel boat and wooden boat drawn all its Structural drawings in AUTOCAD. Done its Hydrostatics-Bonjean-Stability calculations etc and Prepared Stability Information Booklet both with manual Calculation and AUTOSHIP. Dept of Ship Technology, CUSAT then certified the Booklet and all the Structural Drawings.
Job Responsibilities: -
• Preparation of Lines Plan.
• Develops General Arrangements and Hull form drawings using AutoCAD and MODEL MAKER
• Bonjean, Hydrostatics Calculation and Curves Preparation.
• Preparation of Cross Curves of stability, GZ curves of stability for different loading conditions.
• Revising the drawing as per IRS comments & Powering, Resistance Calculation.
• Midship, Fore end, Aft end, Bulkhead, Superstructure Canopy Drawings and Scantlings
• Compartment fixing calculations and Propeller & Rudder design.
• Shell Expansion and all Structural and General Arrangement plans.
• Recently made LSA & FFA, Bilge & Fire lines, Girder Specification, Ventilation, Light Sound Navigation, Shafting & Stern Gear, Steering Plans according to KIV Rules 2010.
• Performs all calculations on Stability (intact& damaged),Floodable Length, Compartment fixing calculations applying naval architecture principles, techniques and procedures and also by AUTO HYDRO
• Done the Inclining Experiment, to find the stability and maximum number of passengers on the boat and also prepared its Stability Information Booklet, both with manual calculation and Auto hydro.
• Working on various live projects undertaken by Aries Institute of Marine Technology with the help of software’s like AUTOSHIP and AUTOCAD. Prepared 16 Drawing and Stability Information Booklet for about 11 inland vessels till date.
