Being a Surveyor with Lloyd's Register for last 5 years, surveyed more than 500 Cargo Ships [Tankers, Bulk Carriers, Container Ships, Passenger ships, Tugs, OSVs]

Excellent knowledge of MARPOL, SOLAS, LSA/FFS codes and other International IMO Rules and Regulations.

From Jan 2010: Project Manager and Surveyor for New Buildings Ships: Lloyd’s Register Project Manager for 37,000 dwt CSR Bulk Carriers for Breise Schiffahrts, Germany at CSIC Xingang Shipyard.

Main Activities: Manage the New Build Project, Control the Cost, survey hours and Manpower Allocation, Review Drawing and approve changes, Prepare Monthly Reports, Conduct Hull and Machinery Surveys Manage relationship with the Shipyard and Ship Owners.

March 2008 to Dec 2009: Project Manager and Surveyor for Conversions of Single Hull VLCC to Double Hull VLCCs at CSIC Shanhaiguan Shipyard, P.R.China.

Assistant Superintendent

Joined Eurasia International (India) now Bernhard Schulte Ship Management, as Assistant Superintendent in Fleet Department and New Constructions & Maintenance Department in August 2002 and worked for the Project management Team on behalf of Owners for the New Building Offshore support vessels of Halul Offshore Services Co.Wll, Qatar.



Worked as Naval Architect/Hull Superintendent for the dry docking of the following Vessels technically managed by the company.

1. Panamax Size Bulk Carrier- at China, Quingdao

2. Capesize Bulk Carrier- at China, Dalian

3. Aframax Tanker- at Thailand, Unithai Shipyard.



Worked for the Software development for Planned Maintenance Systems on the Technical Managed Vessels.



Worked on Specification for Ship Handling Simulators [Combined Integrated Bridge and Engine Room Simulator], contract negotiations and commissioning.



As a part of the Technical Services/Consultancy group undertaken part in Report Preparation for Pre Hire/Purchase inspection (Hull and Machinery) of One Jack up Rig (of Bibby Line) for Larsen and Toubro Limited. In addition carried out Pre purchase inspection of Bulk Carriers and Tankers for Prospective Owners.

Worked in the Project Management Team for below New Building Projects.

2. Tanker Berthing Tug- Bharati Shipyard Limited Yard No.304,

Responsibilities: New Build Technical Specification Preparation for Tender Purposes, Contract Negotiations, New Build Site Surveys, Drawing Appraisals on behalf of Ship Owners, Monthly, weekly and daily reporting to Ship Owners, Liaison with the Equipment Manufacturers, Review Equipment Specifications, Attending Sea Trials, Negotiations with Shipyard for Extra Costs.
