Objective
I would like to become a naval architect working on various vessels, improving current designs to increase efficiecy. I am a recent graduate of Florida Insititute of Technology and I am willing to start at the bottom to earn experience in the field of naval architecture.
Experience
I have interned with Intrepid Powerboats Inc. during the summer of 2009 where I gained experience in naval architecture, the construction process of center console boats, and computer modeling. I have worked with Ocean Style Yachts, A Nigel Burgess Group which awarded me with experience in customer service in the yachting industry.
Research Experience

Education
My education at Florida Institute of Technology has provided me a strong background in ocean engineering. I have concentrated on naval architecture, coastal engineering and researching submersible aircraft. During the four years I have attended Florida Tech I have built and tested two submersible aircraft models that won the Northrop Grumman Engineering Championship Award. I was the team leader, and designed both of the models in Rhino 4.0, performing a complete analysis of the hull using MaxSurf. I have also submitted a paper for publication in Sea Technology for the design and development of the submersible aircraft Gannet.
Certification
I have no certifications
Skils
I have proficient skills in Rhino 4.o, MaxSurf 15. I also have training in Master Cam X, Pro-Engineer, AutoCAD and MATLAB.
