Naval Architect Marine Engineer / Ship Operator Technical manager

Objective


Currently working in a Cruise Operator Company in Greece. I am looking for a new environment and for a challenging and growth-oriented opportunity for career development.


Experience


His professional life though started in 1990 when he first joined ECOSE, a European youth organization but his important professional experience in Shipbuilding industry started to grow in 1996 with a two year stay in Greece in Hellenic Shipyard of Scaramanga, attending surveys of numerous types of ships while trained in different production procedures.He continued with a six month military service in the Navy’s Technical base.Next step was in 1998 with a year stay in South Korea’s Daewoo Heavy Industries supervising the new construction of tanker vessels representing owners Kristen Navigation daughter company of Angelicousis Croup . His longest jump was in 1999 back to German heavy industries, where he stayed five years at the area of Hamburg as a project manager in HDW, Kiel and Flender Werft , Luebeck, supervising the newbuilding of the most technological advanced Superfast Ferries, representing owners Attica Holdings.


Education


Chris Alexander was born in Oklahoma USA on September 5th, 1972. He primary educated in New York USA, his first residence, while he received his university degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture from the National Techical University of Athens (Ethniko Metsovio Polytechnio) in 1998.



In January 2003 was the time for him for graduate studies in ALBA at the field of business, satisfying the unfulfilled dream for an MBA. ALBA gave him the opportunity to strengthen and enrich his management skills.
