• Studying Bid requirements, tenders and technical specifications to be in line with owner requirements.

• Reviewing design drawings received from designer and prepares the drawings for modeling stage.

• Extract all the activities of Hull and Outfitting for any project and put plan for modeling activities and workshop drawings.

• Put material/equipment order plan for departmental related items.

• Site follow-up and providing technical support for production department.

• Perform structural designs and drawings of maritime structures.

• Prepare technical specifications of maritime structures as per owner requirements.

• Prepare documentation for drawing list, material list, production information, delivery documents, etc.

• Assist. Design Manager in tendering, evaluations and coordination with other disciplines.

• Perform technical supervision of construction works and resolve construction related engineering matters.

• Monitor welder performance and conduct visual inspections of welds and repairs of welds in accordance with company procedures.

• Provide technical guidance for welding sequence and distortion control in accordance with procedures and job requirements.

• Support QC supervisor and NDT operators in controlling and maintaining quality standards.

• Check, inspect and test incoming welding materials to ensure they meet job quality specification.

In the last 6 years I have gained experiences in shipbuilding and ship repair industry.

I am working since 5 years and 6 months in different positions in Zamil offshore Services Co. Ltd. In their shipyard which is a very highly developing company, they are the only ship building company in Saudi Arabia.



During working for the shipyard, I was assigned for ship building coordinator or project manager. I have been promoted from ship building engineer to ship design engineer.

In addition, I have attended specialized courses in welding, ship structure, ship design and safety.



I have a very good education background, B.Sc. in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering and 2 years Welding Engineering Diploma.
