Objective
I am interested in a Naval Architecture position. CFD, optimization, programming, hydrodynamics, and yacht design are special interests to me, but I am willing to work in other areas that deal with engineering problem solving.

Intern: Writing codes and post processing codes for propagation of internal waves, writing a program to generate B-Series propeller geometry, and analyzing sea surface realization codes, while learning FORTRAN and MATLAB.
Pedrick Yacht Design – Newport, RI 02840 – January-February 2008
Intern: Post processed CFD results for 12m and 6m yachts, designed rudder for 12m yacht, drafted and verified 12m yacht for USCG Subchapter T certification, and drafted/engineered refit work for classic sailing yachts.
Hiltveit Associates – Hauppauge, NY 11788 – January-February 2007
Deck/Engine Cadet aboard the M/T Fase: Observed and assisted in engine room maintenance, cargo operations, and ship maneuvering while documenting ship’s systems and operations.
Barlow’s Boatyard – Pocasset, MA 02559 – June-August 2005, June-August 2006
Boatyard worker: Painted, launched, and rigged sailboats and motorboats. Assisted with engine and equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.

Intern: Worked on the shop floor in the various departments and performed refit design work on a 73’ Commuter Yacht.
