Objective
During the past 12 years as a Naval Architect in shipyard design offices and fabrication shops, I have been involved with both naval and commercial ships new construction and repair projects, working with classification societies for receiving plans approval and collaborating with their representatives during their survey in the course of construction and final checks, feasibility studies and generating proposals and specifications for prospective clients, preparing structure detail and production drawings per class, load calculations and FEM structural stress analysis, vessels 3D modeling and generating CNC cutting files for ship repair parts, general arrangements, ships’ piping systems design, performance study (speed vs. range and propeller sizing), load line calculations, hull refit steel weight calculations and inclining test for intact and damage stability reports.
