- Weight Estimate (estimating vessel weight from scratch, including all weight groups, from hull structure to the electrical equipment)

- Ship Structures and Strength (course projects included calculating cross-sections of ship structure by means of conventional analytical procedures, calculating ship structure grids using Bubnov’s method, application of Finite Elements Method for the analysis of ship strength and use of Classification societies’ rules in ship structural design)



- Ship Resistance, Propulsion and Manoeuvring (course projects included resistance and propulsion calculations as well as propeller drawing based on Wageningen B-series)
