Project Work:

Title:“Design and fabrication of an Automated carton sealer”

The above project was selected to create an automated carton sealer which was cost effective and robust in design and cater to the local small to medium scale industries. The project was primarily based on mechatronics which gave an opportunity in understanding the importance of interface between the mechanical components and the electrical /electronics systems. The cartons move on a conveyor belt and when a sensor is activated by the carton a pneumatic system is used to apply the tape over the flaps of the carton.
