Project In charge (Naval Architect) for steel renewal of Rig named Randolph Yost for company Transocean(Nov 2006 to March 2007)



? On the job training as officer in charge of fabrication and assembly of bottom plates renewal of the rig.

? Responsible for timely finishing of work and delivery to the owner.

Owners Representative (Naval Architect) In Dolphin Offshore Enterprises India Ltd. For Three Ships (March 2007 – till date)

1).Two Offshore Supply Vessels.

2). One Accommodation Barge.



Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Planning and scheduling of the total work.

2. Control and planning of material input for the work.

3. Execution of the work.

4. Resource management.

5. Dealing with surveyors and vendors for different new building related queries.

6. Inter-department coordination.

7. Management reporting and progress chasing.

8. To make the yard follow the construction schedule so that ships are delivered in time.

9. To make effective a more quality product for the owner.

10. To view the Design in AUTOCAD and make any modifications at site if required.

11. Carried out following for Offshore Supply Vessels

a) Verification of the Stability Booklet.

b) Stability Analysis.

c) Verification of strength analysis and preliminary check of the sections to be put in the structure.

d) Towing tank experiment.

12. To contact various vendors for Owners Specified Ship Equipments and carry out the most optimized product in terms of cost and usage.
