Objective
Cengiz has nearly 3 years of experience on shipbuilding sector. In particular, during his last job he gained experience on all steps of shipbuilding from design phase to operational tests on a turnkey project.
As a marine engineer, Cengiz can manage shipbuilding steps according to IACS requirements for both new constructions and ships in service. His familiarity with international conventions and regulations helps him to ensure survey requirements.

Duties included:
• Steel Construction
o Reviewing drawings before and after class approval.
o Coordination between design office and shipyard for steel work.
o Steel construction (fitting and welding) inspections.
o Planning and attending surveyor inspections.
o Scheduling construction phases for outfitting and coating.
• Piping
o Communication between design, owner and class.
o Reviewing isometric and class approved drawings.
o Based on isometric drawings, requesting materials from purchasing department.
o Making schedule with technical manager and distributing tasks.
o Inspecting works, planning and attending surveyor inspections.
o Scheduling all tests (such as; air leakage test, hydrostatic pressure test)

o Reviewing class drawings and inspections on ship.
o Making schedule and giving the works to sub-contractors.
o Requesting and attending surveyor inspections. Planning the corrections.
o Making schedule and requesting service engineers.

o Reporting to the technical manager about all process of the construction.
o Organizing and managing weekly meetings. Planning activities of subcontractors.
o Monitoring inspection records and class certificates.
o Develop and maintain subcontractor/vendor relationships.
