Duties and Responsibilities:

- Prepares ship estimated working budget/quotations and time completion for the machinery/hull and all other related works for dry docking/afloat repair of inquiring vessels. Vessels sizes ranging from Handymax, Cape Size, Feeder and Panamax for Bulk carriers, Container Vessels, Wood chip Carriers, Cement Carriers and OBO vessels.

- Conduct ocular inspection as necessary for detailed pre-estimation work and monitoring of billing materials onboard the vessel. Also attends and observes material testing on work done by the production department.

- Attends technical discussion and coordinates with immediate superior about the scope and work schedule in their section and that from other sections to ensure that these are done and met in accordance with approved standards of the company and clients.

- Deals directly with the owner’s representative/superintendent regarding the negotiations for the submitted quotations for the additional works of their current vessel on repair.

- Prepares draft invoice of the vessel prior sail out, submitted to the owner for final negotiations and approval of the repair invoice.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Coordinates work flow among Purchasing, Procurement, Records and Production department and directly supervise the staff in production division.

- Held weekly meeting to keep production staff fully informed of changes in priorities schedule and job responsibilities.

- Create cost study design, construction drawing, including bill of materials and detail drawings for the designed fiberglass patrol boats. And prepares calculation regarding the selection of optimum propeller diameter and speed estimation of vessel. Perform assessment regarding damage repair of both steel and FRP craft.

- Projects handled:

o Construction of 20 units 24ft DA-BFAR FRP Patrol Boats of NK Structural approved

o Construction of 22 units 26ft DA-BFAR FRMP FRP Patrol Boats of NK Structural approved.

o Construction of 5 units 27ft Prototype DA-BFAR FRP Patrol Boats.

o Construction of 1 unit 27ft LLDA Monitoring FRP Boat.



Position Held: Draftsman Apr. 03, 2000 – Jan. 2001

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Prepares final technical plans & revisions and monitor construction progress at finishing phase of newly constructed vessel as well as the repair of docked vessel in Yard’s slipway.

o Repair of 3 units 40ft Coast Guard Cutters
