Experience
During the military service in Egyptian Navy Forces Shipyard:
? From Oct 2005 till January 2006: Diesel and Propeller Shaft Dept.
• Alignment for all rotating equipments using Dial indicator and Fixture Leaser Alignment Kit.
• Maintenance for propeller shafts (fixed and controllable pitch ).
• Clearance measurements for propeller shaft and rudder stock.
• Maintenance for most types of vessel Valves.
? From February 2006 till April 2007 : SYNCROLIFT
- Supervisor for all repair and maintenance process for Tugs and Cargo vessels:
• Hull preparation :
o Hand scraping.
o Sand blast.
o Hull painting.
• Rudder works:
o Repacking stock gland.
o Clearances measurement.
o Disconnecting rudder and landing on dock bottom for survey and full calibration.
• Propeller and propeller shaft works:
o Tailshaft/sterntube clearance measurments using feeler guage and poker guage.
o Crack detection using Magnaflux testing for propeller and propeller shaft.
o Disconnecting of the forward and aft patent mechanical seal (Simplex –Type) and reassembling with new rubber seals including any machining works.
• Sea Valves works:
o Disconnecting and removing cover, spindle and gland and cleaning all exposed parts.
o Hand grinding of globe valves.
o Light hand scraping of gate valves.
o Cleaning and testing bedding of seals of Butterfly valves.
• Anchors and cables:
o Cleaning by high pressure jetwash or sand blast.
o Calibration of every 20th link.
• Steel works:
o Repairing of all damaged shell plating and tanks.
o NDT for all welded plates (Visual testing , Dye- penetrant testing, Magnetic particles testing ) .
• Pipes works:
o Removal of original damaged pipes and replacement new fabricated ones on deck ,tanks and engine room.
? From April 2008 and up to now
Working for Egyptian Navigation Company(E.N.C)
o Working in technical inspection sector and supervision of the maintenance processes for the all company's vessels.
o Working as mechanical engineer on the ship " TABA"
(RO-RO ship – G.R.T: 6650 Tons – D.W.T : 3133 Tons – L.O.A: 117.20 Meters)
o Working as mechanical engineer on the ship " EL HUSSEIN"
(RO-RO ship – G.R.T: 6650 Tons – D.W.T: 3064 Tons – L.O.A: 117.20 Meters )
