Jan 09 – Sept 2010 CAPTAIN, M/Y WHEELS, 36M Horizon Charter Motor Yacht 2002, 297 Grt. 10 Guests, 6 Crew, 2 x MTU 1826hp. Malta, Italy, South France, Corsica & Sardinia.



Nov 07 – Nov 08 Chief Officer/Relief Captain, M/Y SIRONA III, 57m Oceanfast 917 Grt. (Liveaboard Owners) 13 Crew. 2 x 1750 Cats

Overall management of the Vessel, from hiring Crew, Organizing Dockage, Inventories, Passage planning, Accounts, ISM,ISPS,SMS, This is a busy Live-aboard Yacht with two Captains & two Chief Engineers on a 3 on 3 off rotation, regular Crew 5 on 1 off rotation.



July 07 – Oct 07 Captain, M/Y HOLO KAI, 162ft Expedition Yacht.

Working for National Maritime in Ft. Lauderdale, Moved the Holo Kai from West Palm Beach to Dania beach on a rotation until the vessel sold.



May 05 – June 2007 First Officer / Relief Captain M/Y INVADER, 164ft, 608 Grt, Codecasa, 10 crew

Busy private yacht with 10 crew. I organized & managed 4 deck crew where we worked on several large projects which included: routing, re caulking and sanding teak fore deck & sun deck, also numerous paint projects. Relief Captain on three separate occasions



Dec 04 – March 05 Chief Officer, M/Y CHARADE, 160ft Feadship, 10 crew

Temporary relief position onboard this private yacht based in Lyford Cay, Bahamas. Offered continued employment as Relief Captain, but unfortunately the insurance company required additional formal qualifications.



March 04 – Dec 04 First Officer, M/Y LORD JIM, 146ft, Hakvoort, 9 crew

Private yacht with extensive cruising schedule; Fort Lauderdale to Halifax, Greenland, Ireland, Gibraltar, Italy, France. Shipped yacht back to the US for a two-month yard period in Miami

Responsible for crew management, passage planning, watch schedules. Gained extensive, hands on, docking and long distance cruising experience



Nov 01 – Dec 02 Bosun / Watch Captain, M/V TURMOIL, 151ft Palmer Johnson Expedition, 8 crew

Private yacht cruising the west coast, Alaska and the Arctic, with a team of environmental scientists exploring and photographing the whale migration, brown and polar bears. Responsible for exterior maintenance and navigation



Feb 00 – March 01 Deckhand & Scuba Instructor, M/Y MIDNIGHT SAGA, 198ft Commenga, 17 crew

Busy charter yacht, with intense maintenance schedule.



Jan 96 – Aug 98 Captain/Scuba Instructor, BLUE WATER DIVERS, Tortola, BVI

This outfit operated a number of dive boats in the British Virgin Islands



May 90 – Jan 96 Mate, M/Y CAPRICORN LADY, 71ft Trumpy, Classic 1947 Yacht, 4 crew

Mate originally hired as deckhand, promoted after 2 years. Busy charter yacht based in the British Virgin Islands
