TMILL( A j/v company of Tata Steel and Martrade Holding GmBh engaged in Chartering , Freight Forwarding and Port/Terminal operations with a turnover of Rs. 200 Crores.



Jan’03- Apr’05 Malaysia International Shipping Corp Berhad (MISC), Mumbai as Commercial Mgr (India)

ISPAT Industries Limited

Instrumental in chartering

oPanamax / Supramax/handymax / handysize grabbers for carriage of iron ore products between ECI /WCI ports to Mumbai.

oSupramax/handymax vessels for carriage of limestone and dolomite from PG/Red Sea to Mumbai

oChartering of vessels for carriage of HBI/DRI from Mediterranean , Handymax grabbers for carriage of Iron ore pellets from Brazil / Canada to Warri, West Africa

and carriage of DRI from Warri to Bourgas.

oHandysize vessels for carriage of steel from China – Iligan ( Philppines), Iligan – Mediterranean , Iligan – Jakarta , USWC ports for our parent company, Global Steel Holdings Limited.

?Contributed in fixing small parcels of steel from Mumbai to SE Asia and bulk cargoes for our own Mini Bulk Carrier.

?Nomination of vessels for carriage of Coke from China to Mumbai.

Sale and purchase projects

Currently working on a few projects to procure 4 x 6000 dwt handysize geared tonnages in addition 2 old

handymax/ handysize grabbers for our group.



Long term contract with reputed owners for stationing a

transshipper for India and Nigerian lighterage operations .



? Dry cargo chartering Principal for in-house handysize grab fitted tonnage.

Pioneered in re-activating and trading this vessel from a

2 year lay-up by upgrading this vessel in 3 months and have so far generated a revenue of INR 25 crores , achieved positive cash flows for last 6 months continously.



Supervising commercial and technical aspects of the vessel daily and spearheading operations for upgrading the vessel on a planned maintenance schedule.



In charge of pre ,post fixture activities including finalisation of accounts of charterers/ shippers and vendors and ensuring timely payment.



Fully abreast of the nitty gritties of voyage , time and bare-boat chartering of dry bulk, tankers and LPG carriers.



Achieved a profit of INR 2.1 Crores by arranging long term contract for orange peel grabs for handling shredded scrap in Mumbai.



?System design and Implementation of an automated Vessel chartering system in collaboration with IBM.

?Presented a paper along with our Top Mgmt on “ Coastal Dry Bulk Shipping – Opportunities/Bottlenecks” in the ICS-BIMCO conference held at Chennai in Nov’05.
