Experience
ICI Services, LLC. November 2006 – Present.
Currently providing technical, engineering, and design integration support to the Ship Design Manager and SEA 05P14 for the LHA (R) Flt 0 (LHA 6), LHA (R) Flt 1 (LHA 7) and CVN 78 class. Current work with ICI has consisted of General Arrangement reviews of the CVN 78 legacy class vessel and analyzing damage control and fire protection. All class vessels; Looked at the survivability of the ship and taking in affect the specification and regulations set by the governing agencies. Reviewing piping diagrams associated with fire protection. LHA (6); Generating deactivation diagrams of vital distributed systems for use in the Advanced Survivability Assessment Program (ASAP) utilized by the Naval Surface Warfare Center-Carderock Division (NSWCCD). Result of the analysis of deactivation diagrams are combined with the ship’s performance capabilities following various damage scenarios to frame a holistic assessment of the ship’s vulnerability and recoverability traits.
Past work with ICI consisted of Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture work for phase two ship design under contract to AMSEC LLC of the T-AGM(R) ship design. Work consisted of drawing auxiliary systems to specifications as well as modeling ship structures with computer programs. Supported Gibbs & Cox on the Australian Air Warfare Destroyer (AWD) in the Damage Control portion of the Baseline design. Assisted with the deliverable for the initial contract award for Recoverability Philosophy.
Eastern Portland Cement Corporation, June – October 2006. Charter Party Supervisor, Calculated laytime, and helped with the logistics of the vessel to facility interface. Assisted the ship director with the D.O.S.’s, and discharge scheduling.
Amadra Painting Inc. 1998-2000, 2002, & 2003 - 2006 commercial painting.
Alabama Electric Cooperative, Gantt Alabama coop-student June to August 2001. Assisted with the day to day operating procedures. Worked with the maintenance crew on a daily basis and helped them reassembling a 25 MW ABB single stage reaction type steam turbine.
COMERCIAL SHIPPING
United States Military Sea Lift Command served as a cadet aboard the USNS Yukon. Assigned the duties of a 3rd assistant engineer. January – March 2003.

Skils
Graduate of Massachusetts Maritime Academy with a B.S. in Marine Engineering. As a cadet at MMA has completed four sea terms, one of which was aboard USNS Yukon with the Military Sealift Command. On the senior sea term assigned the responsibilities of "Hold Captain," responsibilities consisted of organizing underclassmen activities in the berthing hold and assisted them with day to day ship operations.
