Experience


Captain Hall, US Merchant Marine, U S Navy, SCPO Retired, was born in Buffalo, New York, in 1959. He entered the Navy in April 1976 after successfully earning his General High School Equivalency Diploma.



Since his retirement from the Navy in September 1996, Captain Hall has earned a US Coast Guard, License as Master of Near Coastal Steam or Motor Vessels of not more than 1600 gross tons and 3000 ITC tons. He has worked for both Global Industries Inc, in New Iberia, LA., and AQUATICA Inc in Lafayette, LA as a Commercial Supply/Dive Vessel` Captain. He was also the Program Manager of a Multimillion Dollar Federal Prime Contract at the Naval Air Station Pensacola for Seaward Service, Inc., where he managed 70 employees that operated and maintained 24 US Navy and US Air Force training and support vessels for NAS Pensacola’s four major aviations training commands as well as providing port services to visiting ships. He has successfully managed two additional government marine contracts as both Master/Captain and Manager since October 1998 at the Naval Air Station. He was recently employed with International Marine Services in Larose, Louisiana since March of 2004.



Captain Hall’s previous Navy tours include the USS JOHN F. KENNEDY (CV-67) as a small boat operator & maintenance supervisor. Amphibious Construction Battalion-Two as a Causeway Rig Captain and Barge Ferry Pilot serving aboard the USS FAIRFAX COUNTY (LST-1193), USS NEWPORT (LST-1179), USS BOULDER (LST-1190). The USS PATTERSON (FF-1061) serving as the First Division, Leading Petty Officer, and the Command Career Counselor. The USS GRAY (FF-1054) serving as the First Lieutenant. The Commander Naval Surface Group-Six as the Command Senior Chief & the special assistant for Deck and Aviation Operations.



Capain Hall also had tours at the Recruit Training Command, Orlando, Florida for recruit training, the Navy Recreation Center, Solomon’s, Maryland as the Marina Director; the Naval & Marine Corps Reserve Center Buffalo, New York as the Training Department Head, Command Career Counselor, and as the Craft Master/Captain of LCU-1680. In addition he served at the Ship’s Intermediate Maintenance Activity (SIMA), Pascagoula, Mississippi as the Assistant Port Operations Office for Naval Station Pascagoula.


Education


Bachelors of Science Degree in Resource Management from Edenvale University in London England. He is also a graduate of the US Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (SEA)...
