Presently Cleared MEO Class IV Part [B] Indian (Certificate of Competency) as Marine Engineer[Fourth Engineer]. [Waiting for the COC]
Since June’09 with “Thermax India Ltd” in Heating Division as “Service Engineer” till March 2010.
Service Engineer:
? Was responsible for installation inspection, commissioning and services with warranty of various compact smoke tube type of boilers as big as 150T capacity, performing fuel oil line draining, alignment of pump couplings [feed water and fuel oil pumps], electric connection for the pumps and sequential start panel for boiler operation, boiler chemical boil off, setting safety valve and pressure switches for the end user.
? Basically making the boiler IBR inspection worthy for pressure testing both hydraulic and steam. Imparting training to boiler operators and final hand over to the customer with proper high load test records.
? Was dealing with pressure jet and steam atomized burners of ‘OILON Finland’, maintenance and setting the air/fuel ratios for good combustion and lesser chimney soot deposits.
? Worked on Thermic fluid heaters and associated systems having steam atomized burners.
? Trouble shooting various machinery and operation defects during the warranty period and also covering up AMC and spare listing and supplying through IBR approved suppliers.
Since FEB’07 with “The Great Eastern Shipping Co. Ltd”., Crude Oil Merchant Tanker Jag Pari and Jag Lakshya as Junior Marine Engineer (Maintenance) till OCT’08.
Junior Engineer:
? Responsible for diesel generators [MAN B&W and Daihatsu 800KVA to 1000KVA], recording running hours, maintaining fuel injectors, fuel pumps, overhauling cylinder heads, piston crown and rings renewal, with proper clearances of crack web, crank shaft deflection, bottom end and big end journal shell bearings, turbocharger maintenance. Total de-carbonization of each firing units heavy oil/diesel oil as its fuel media.
? Worked on [Aalborg AQ9 boiler and Mitsui D type] boilers with rotary cup and steam atomized burners oil fired. Recording boiler water tests and has experience in preparing a plant with steam turbine pumps of capacity 2000m3/hr discharge rate to pump out crude oil and various crude oil products like jet fuel and naphthalene.
? Worked on cranes of 200T capacity with hydraulic drives. Maintenance of power pack DC, pressure control valves and flow control installations.
? Assisted in maintaining [Alfa Laval and Mitsubishi] fuel oil and lubricating oil purifiers attaining optimum purification standards.
? Assisted in maintenance of various centrifugal and positive displacement pumps as big as discharge capacity of 100m3/hr and all types of valves [manual and pneumatic].
? [TANABE and SPHERE] air compressors maintenance.
Since Jul’ 2006 with “Precise Auto Ancillaries Pvt. Ltd” as GET Engineer [Maintenance Dept.] till January’ 2007.
Trainee:
? Maintenance of fuel rails of IC engine, fuel injectors & pumps Bosch. Axle fabrication, steering system differential Gear boxes.
? Overall working of an industry with knowledge of annual maintenance records. Fabricating parts if necessary.

Work Highlights:
? Prepared the boiler plant & inert gas plant to discharge the crude efficiently, as fast as possible.
? Preventive & condition monitored maintenance was carried on in the steam driven centrifugal pumps of high capacity discharge rate, boilers and all the ancillary machinery to discharge the crude oil efficiently.
