From December 15th, 1998 until December 14th, 1999 I had been an employee of TANKERSKA PLOVIDBA d.d.- shipping company as an assistant of tehnical superintendent. During that time I had been working on general overhaul of four (4) ships (chemical tankers ''Obrovac'' and ''Olib'', LPG tanker ''Sali'' and bulk carrier ''Molat'') in dry dock. General overhaul consists of: writing repair specification (ISO 9002 standard and ISM code); purchasing of spair parts and necesary tools; execution and supervision of some works; and finally, inspection and approval (Certificate) from Class representative. General overhaul execution works consists of deck works [preparing surface for painting, painting, diferent anticorossive protections, gas freeing (including gas free certificate), cleaning and repairing of cargo tanks, replacing and repairing of broken frames in ballast tanks, and replacing and repairing of broken and damaged steel plates and other parts etc.] and engine room works [main engine works; steering gear works; auxiliary engine works; repairing and replacing of broken and damaged valves; repairing and replacing of broken and damaged pipe network; boiler works and electrical – works etc.]. Also I had been working on services (at sea) of three (3) ships (crude oil carriers ''Ante Banina'', ''Vukovar'' and ''Silba''). On crude oil carrier''A. Banina'', we had been working in engine room (main engine works –overhauling cylinders) and we had been replacing stern seal ''John Crane – Lips (Former Waukesha) Seals & Bearings''. Service on crude oil carrier ''Vukovar'' was in November 1999 and consisted of hydraulic-engine replacement and bow anchor windlass engine's oil distributor replacement; of dismantlement, cleaning of turbocharger, replacement of turbocharger's bearings and fitting turbocharger; of repairment of emergency manouver system regulation and main engine starting system and of high pressure oil pumps regulation. Service on crude oil carrier ''Silba'' was also in November 1999 and consisted of lower bearing shell of intermediate shaft replacement.
Mosor d.o.o. OMIŠ – company for production and mountation PVC & Al joinery
Since August 1st 2000 until November 08th 2002 I have been an employee in Mosor d.o.o. Omiš – company, which produces PVC & Al joinery, as Area Account Manager.
TANKERKOMERC d.d. - Oil terminal
Since October 11th 2002 untill May 2006. I was an employee in TANKERKOMERC d.d. – Oil terminal as Technical Manager.
My job was to manage maintenance of cargo oil pumping and storing
plant.
- writing repair specification, writing a maintance plan for oil plant
- daily rounds and survey of plant's working accuracy,
- invention of technical solutions for improving and alleviation of
work for workers (modification and improvization of exisiting system)
- regular services – planned maintenance
- declining of damages,
- spare parts and necessary tool purchasing
- making arangements with business partners
- execution and supervision of works
- inspection and approval (Certificate) from Class representative (rainfall and sewagewaters analysis, cargo analysis, anti explosion protection and electrical machines in EX (safety) construction, fire and safety equipment control, enviroment and workers protection, annual survey of flowmeters and temperature compensators on tank–car and tank-lorry stations, gauging of weighbridge, danger cargo handling, inspection of boiler working, gas free certificate, different gauging and drills etc……..)
- as ''Safety representative'', I am incharged for providing measures for workers protection
- also I am the person on oil terminal incharged for the water protection.
TANKERKOMERC d.d. – Gas (LPG) terminal
Since July 2004. untill april 2005. I have been working as Project Manager for rearrangement and building of Gas terminal. Building and rearrangement was divided in two phases. First phase was verification of nominal pharametars (preassure test, NDT and DT methods). Second phase is creation of feasibilty study, develpment of main project (mechanical project, electrical project , building project, FF project, safety at work project, influence at enviromet project.............), aprovement of main project and building of Gas terminal.
TANKERKOMERC d.d.
Since May 2006. I am working as an Assistant of manager for development and construction. Currently, I am working on two projects – construction od bio diesel factory and palm oil terminal.
Faculty of maritime studies in Rijeka / office in Zadar
During the winter semestar in 2005. I have worked at Faculty of maritime studies in Rijeka / class in Zadar as an assistant of prof. Martinovic. I have teatched students of 2nd year at marine engineering course. The name of the class that I have teatched practice is: ''Ship's auxiliary engine and equipment''.
