Job Experiences:
1)Project DOJ December 2009 and still ongoing ,ETF April 2012.
Working as a Supervisor on a site team of “CosmoShip Management” in New Century ship building NCS ,Jiangsu Province China and as a Supervisor my responsibilities are to follow the work done for the constructions of 6 handy size bulk carriers( Multi Purpose ) of 30 k Ton Deadweight by all the personnel on site regarding inspections such as outfitting and Machinery Operations, Rudder Stock and Pintle Inspections(Dimensions and MPT) ,Surface preparation , Vaccum test ,Air pressure test ,Welding ,Joints Preparation ,ER Pipes ,Deck Piping and Accommodation Piping outfitting ,Blocks outfitting during erections, NDT Testing ( RT points Marking ,PT ,UT and MPT) and take corrective actions, assure the quality for all blocks assembled and report for non conformities to shipyard and to “Cosmoship Management “ in Greece.
During Shop test inspections ,for Marine Generators i assure to get the desired performance and operations from makers through various performance and operations procedures tests .
As for overhauling the new engine for internal check up i assure to get a smooth surfaces on the piston and O rings to have a certain clearance for max performance and good lubrication while piston is in motion in the cylinder liner .
Many items included as well such deflections measurement ,cylinder heads checking cooling water system , piston rods , boss pin, Main bearings and crank pin bearings .
After each block is assembled , checked and accepted during painting final inspections, they are driven to the graving dock for final assembly and keel laying where at later stage machinery fitting and installation takes place followed by superstructures .
At later period the constructed vessel is launched to a near dock where Accommodation assembly takes place and all electric wires for all purposes are set for sea trial in the last phase .
2)Job Duration from March 2009 till October 2009 ( 8 Months )
Worked as Assistant in the Technical Department of Rabunion Maritime company where my responsibilities are divided in two categories : Mechanical and Management .
For Management Category : My responsibility is to check all the necessary papers related to various reports of ships from chief’s engineer monthly abstract and oil consumption form to spare parts issued and technical reports for different types of components on ships related to deflection ,vibration and non conformities .
For Mechanical Category : being onboard ships in the engine room and checking the related work and repairs done for damaged parts and taking the responsibility to assure the link between onshore based personnel and vessels
3)Training Duration 3 months in Manufacturing Plant :
Training as a Production Engineer with NAPCO Group in Saudi Arabia where I involved in various types of machines that produced paper bags from Satchel to SOS bags used in all Restaurants and Shops and Multi wall bags used for various chemicals components and cements that are filled in .
I was responsible for 10 machines with various needs of raw material and glue to produce bags according to customers demand and needs.
