Plant Supervisor
Responsible for the start-up of the oleochemical plant, which includes the thermal boiler, high pressure steam boiler (re-boiler) for use for splitter column.
1. Insures that safety procedures and standards are habitually practiced and observed in the plant.
2. Involved in the pre-commissioning activities, i.e. air blasting of process and utility pipelines and vessels, leak testing and pump test run together with the pre-commissioning engineer.
3. Continuous operation of chemical process equipments such as hydrolyser / splitter column, distillation column, fractionation column, refinery column and multiple effect evaporators.
4. Operation and maintenance of mechanical equipments such as:
a. Thermal boiler
b. Jet ejector .
c. High-pressure piston pumps .
d. Centrifugal and gear type of pumps
e. Air Compressors .
5. Estimate materials to be used in the installation of equipment and piping modification of product pipeline and high pressure steam pipeline as well as its insulation.
6. Pump selection and installation.
7. Suggest simple modification to improve plant efficiency.
8. Evaluate and analyzed operating parameters and initiate adjustments, if necessary to meet product specification at minimal cost.
9. Oversee oleo chemical plant shutdown activities such as:
a. Check up of pumps’ alignment, bearings, lubrication and oil level.
b. Inspection and cleaning of equipments and vessels.
c. Check-up of process and utility loops including flange connections, valve condition, steam tracing and insulation.
10. Prepare daily / monthly production and consumption report.
