Objective

As a Steel Work Preparator/ Estimator
Major Responsibilities.
• Analyzing Client specifications for summarisation of steel jobs & to Estimate the Man Hrs
• Identification of Steel repair jobs onboard with attending Superintendent
• Preparation of repair mark up drawings or approval drawings based on visual inspection
• Preparation of Bill of materials and indenting for procuring the materials
• Preparation of workshop drawings for cutting and assembling of various steel material
• Assisting production team for Scheduling and Execution of manpower
• Providing guidance to shop floor personnel in fabrication & assembly of structures/panels
• Verification of installation of all major works onboard and monitoring daily progress
• Coordinate with owner rep./project Engineer for the alterations of structure design if any
• Making field works instructions for modification and rectification as per drawing revisions
• Preparation of Work Completion Certificates & Invoices based on the actual work done
• Documentation for the QA/QC & DNV periodical audits
2) Cochin Shipyard Limited, Cochin, India (05th April 1999 to 09th April 2002)
