Experience
(i) Project training in Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Ltd., Plant no.15, Mumbai from July 2000 to December 2000.
• Supervision of fabrication of pressure vessels
• Study of detail drawing sheets and getting the work done on shop floor
• Inspection of the job at different stages
• NDT testing of the welded joints like Ultrasonic, Dye penetrant, Radiography
(ii) Research Assistant in Mechanical Engg. Dept. IIT Bombay under guidance of Prof. Amitava De & Prof R. Raman from July 2002 to July 2004.
• Detail study of the resistance spot welding process & neural network
• Development of feed forward neural network model
• Implementation of the neural network model on data collected of resistance spot welding for different mild steel
• Validating and analyzing the results predicted by model.
(iii) Assistant Engineer (Mech) in Project Development India Ltd, Baroda from August 2004 to September 2004.
• Study of Process Information diagram
• Design of pressure vessels using software PV Elite
• Design of piping details as per PI and Equipment layout diagram
(iv) Asst. Manager (QA/QC) in Ador Welding, Mumbai, India since September 2004 till date.
• Testing of the welding consumables as per ASME Sec II part C & other standards
• WPS, PQR preparation, customer complaint, supplier liaison.
• Selection of welding process, welding consumables, process parameters etc.
• Destructive & Non-destructive testing techniques
• Inspection and testing, calibration of instruments, preparation of work instructions, quality standard and quality plan
• Preparation and implementation of Quality Improvement Programme & Quality Management System.
