• Technical Clerk/Storekeeper in Princess Cruise Lines from October 2005 up to the present with the following ships (Sea Princess 2005 & 2009, Crown Princess 2006 – 2008)
THE TECHNICAL CLERK WILL UNDERTAKE THE FOLLOWING:
? MAINTAIN CONFIDENTIALITY OF ALL INFORMATION.
? THE TECHNICAL CLERK WILL FULLY FAMILIARIZE HIMSELF WITH HIS SAFETY DUTIES.
? THE TECHNICAL CLERK WILL FAMILIARIZE HIMSELF WITH FLEET REGULATIONS AND KNOW HOW TO ACCESS THEM THROUGH HIS LOTUS NOTES.
? ADMINISTRATIVE & CLERICAL DUTIES AS DIRECTED BY THE CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER OR OTHER SENIOR TECHNICAL OFFICER IN THE DEPARTMENT.
? INPUTTING /RETRIEVING INFORMATION AND DOCUMENTATION FOR THE “AmosW” AND REFMAN SYSTEM.
? THE TECHNICAL CLERK WILL ENSURE THAT “AmosW” TRANSMISSIONS (Imports & Exports) ARE DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER.
? WORK IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE TECHNICAL STOREKEEPER, REGARDING THE ADMINISTRATION FOR GENERATING SERVICE REQUISITIONS AND OFFLOADS / LANDING ORDERS.
? REPLENISHMENT OF OFFICE MATERIALS AND SUPPLIES THROUGH THE NETCHEF DATABASE.
? MAINTAINING DEPARTMENTAL RECORDS FOR BERTHING AND EMERGENCY DUTIES.
? UPDATING/RETRIEVING INFORMATION FROM HOTEL DEFECTS COMPUTER DATA BASE.
? MAINTAINING FILING SYSTEM FOR SHIP’S DRAWING & MANUALS.
THE TECHNICAL STOREKEEPER WILL UNDERTAKE THE FOLLOWING:
? THE ISSUING OF SPARE PARTS FROM THE VARIOUS STORE ROOMS UNDER HIS CONTROL.
? THIS TASK IS ONLY TO BE UNDERTAKEN BY THE STOREKEEPER. HE IS NOT TO GRANT
ACCESS TO ANY STORES UNDER HIS CONTROL.
? ENSURING ALL STORES TRANSACTION RECORDS ARE UPDATED ON THE “AmosW” SYSTEM AS THEY OCCUR.
? THE STOREKEEPER WILL GENERATE REQUISITIONS ON THE “AmosW” SYSTEM, TO MAINTAIN CORRECT STOCK
? LEVELS, ENSURING THE CORRECT AND UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION OF
ALL ASPECTS OF THE VESSELS TECHNICAL SUPPLIES
? GENERATING REQUISITIONS REQUIRED BY SHIP’S OFFICERS FROM HOTEL, DECK & TECHNICAL ON CORRECT COMPLETION OF THE REQUIRED “INTERNAL REQUEST FORM” (IRF).
? THE TECHNICAL STOREKEEPER SHOULD KEEP THE CTO INFORMED ON ALL “URGENT” P.O.s (especially P.O.s appertaining to critical equipment), AND OUTSTANDING P.O.s THAT HAVE NOT BEEN DELIVERED ON BOARD FOR A LONG TIME.
? RECEIVING, ACCOUNTING, AND STORING IN THEIR CORRECT LOCATIONS OF ALL SPARES
DELIVERED TO THE VESSEL.
? ISSUING TOOLS AS REQUIRED TO TECHNICAL STAFF, AND MAINTAINING A RECORD OF SUCH ISSUES, HE IS TO ENSURE ANY TOOLS GIVEN TO STAFF ARE RETURNED BY THE END OF THE WORKING DAY.
? MAINTAINING ALL STORES IN A CLEAN AND ORDERLY MANNER.
• Project Supervisor in Supreme Steel Pipe Corporation from March 04, 2003 up to September 28, 2005.
? Responsible for the Mechanical drawings, Machine parts design/modifications, & Machine Layout using AutoCAD R2002/2004.
? Responsible for Planning, Monitoring, Scheduling & Supervising of the assign work to ensure that it is properly done.
