Job Profile
• Follow up with the production department on one hand for the timely shipment of the consignment Handling Customer Schedules & ensuring on time dispatches. Preparing and Executing Sales & Distribution Plan.
• Arrange container by lifting it from the yard after getting the D/O from shipping line passing the same to Clearing Agent. Day to day contact with shipping lines, freight forwarders and CHA for fallow up of container & vessel movement as per vessel planning received from shipping line.
• Arranging the Pre-shipment quality control inspection from different inspection agencies I.E SGS, Control Union, QSS, OMIC, Call them at the time of stuffing, send them samples, get the analysis results from them and then arranging the final inspection report.
• Co ordination with the Shipping line, CHA, get the vessel planning, follow the shipping line/CHA for timely shipments, release the freight payment and then arranging Bill Of Lading.
• Handles Post shipment matters i.e Arranging Detention / Demurrage free days on specific request of buyer, follow shipping line accordingly for movement of cargo from transshipment port and delivered the same to consignee on time.
• Identification and development of the new Market of Middle East & Southeast Asia customers in assigned Territory. Send them offers, quotation, booked the orders and accordingly planned the shipment Procurement of orders. Strengthen the existing market and customer network. Preparation of offers/ Quotation for various products to various clients and building healthy business relations with them.
• Handles certification matters such as fulfillment of procedures and requirements for obtaining and renewal of various Certificates like Halal Certificate, Kosher Certification, Health certificate, Phytosanitary Certificate etc.
• Obtaining Bank Realization certificate from Bank after payment realization from Overseas Customers.
Jun 2005 to Aug 05 with TATA International Ltd. Dewas (M.P.) as Management Trainee.
Internship - with TATA International Ltd., Dewas (M.P.) an ISO 9001-14000 certified from RW TUV CERT of Germany. It is India's leading leather and leather products exporter. The company operates its leather business in India from Dewas, Chennai, Delhi, Calcutta, as well as, from China, South Asia and the Middle East. As a leather and leather products exporter the main markets are the quality stringent markets of Western Europe, North America and the Far East.
