2002 to Present: Floating Dry Dock Navy-1,I M O No.8203957 (Max Lifting Capacity 11500MT) (188x40 meters) Port Blair
? As Chief –in Charge Liaison and Co-ordination with M/s Svitzer Wijsmuller Salvage Netherlands for Salvage and Re-floatation of the Floating dry dock using Auto hydro System, from a depth of 25 Meters.
? Was part of the 12-member team Selected for Refit Management of Floating Dry Dock at Colombo Dockyard Ltd, Sri Lanka for ten months. Project Details:-Mooring unmooring ,Towing activities, Quality Inspector for surface preparation and painting of one and half lakhs sqmtrs area of underwater Hull, Ballast tanks and Compartments using M/s Akzo Nobel International and M/s Jotun Singapore products. Renewal plan for sacrificial anodes of 24 Ballast tanks. Quality control checks of out fittings and fabrication works, NDT examinations. Quality Inspector for repair/renewal and Load testing of Dock blocks and Halo deck. Hull survey activities along with Classification Society L R S and Insurance Companies.
? Survey operations and steel renewal plan of 750 tons along with LRS Surveyor during refit of Floating Dry dock. Annual Survey execution for retention of LRS classification.
? Specialized in Docking and undocking activities, Docking plans layout, Underwater Hull Surface preservation (S A 2.5) and painting, Quality control checks, NDT examinations, Operation and Maintenance of Alto Ultra Hydro Blasters (2500bar) and Grit blasting machines. Planned Preventive Maintenance of Hull and docking/undocking aids. Training Chief for Orientation of crew.
1999-2002: Preservation Project Team-Mumbai
? Specialized in Preservation of ships by mothballing technique, using dehumidifiers and monitoring, controlling of relative humidity and temperatures for two years.
? Implementation of various hull related policies, upkeep of water tight and gas tight integrity and solving hull related issues of 14 ships as Chief in charge, assistant to Squadron Naval Architect Officer, Captain Killer Squadron.
