1989-Present Owner/operator “Café Lafayette Dinner Train”, N. Woodstock, NH
(www.nhdinnertrain.com) A 150 seat, moving dinner train consisting of
six cars totaling 400 feet in length. As captain, my responsibilities
include the maintenance, repair and renovation of all mechanical,
electrical (including generators), plumbing and communications
systems; management of daily operations. I also serve as executive
chef. These duties include galley management, menu planning, recipe development, ordering, food preparation and finishing and
management of a crew of eight. We operate from May to October.

Events Coordinator - Responsible for all ski-racing venues from
Nastar to Pro races. Coordination of all departments needed before
and during event from snowmaking and grooming to ski-patrol.
Responsible for course safety (fencing and course placement),
placement of sponsor’s advertising, spectator viewing, safety of the
general public and races during the event. Event timing, course
communications, audio system, course maintenance during the race
and maintenance of the hill after the event is over. Also responsible
for acquisition and maintenance of materials needed during the
racing season like safety fencing, gates and gate panels, augers,
drills, and radios.

Chief mechanic- responsible for all engine installation, repair and maintenance, electrical and control system installation, repair and maintenance and hull repair and maintenance as well as estimating and marine survey. Conducted towing, delivery and trials as well as general boat movement in dockage and mooring areas.

I am a physically fit 62-year-old male, non-smoker. Highly motivated, goal oriented self-starter, honest, hard working, congenial and a loyal team player. I have good crisis management skills and am an imaginative and creative problem solver. I also have a very broad range of maritime and boat related skills and experience. Specific qualifying abilities include boat handling and deckhand skills, rigging skills, extensive knowledge of mechanical systems (including diesel), electrical generation and distribution as well as hull maintenance and repair. I’m also a very good cook with menu planning experience. I am willing and happy to be involved in any and all crew task/activities.
